The trial of the mother and father who killed their own children in Bursa began. Chilling last-minute statements appeared in court. The body of a man was found on March 14 in the forest area of the Gürsu TOKİ road in the Bursa Kestel district. The gendarmerie teams examined the telephone records of Şenol Rençber, his father Telat Rençber and his mother Ayşe Rençber (54) and the places where the vehicle was removed from the License Plate Recognition System (PTS). In the study, it was determined that the vehicle passed the road where Şenol Rençber was found dead on the day of the incident and that it was traveling between Telat Rençber’s house and the crime scene at certain intervals. It was also determined that the Rençber family’s phones moved side by side on the day of the incident upon detecting the signals from the BAZ station. In addition, the teams came to the information that the three telephones were switched off after 16:07.
Following the information obtained, Telat Rençber and his wife Ayşe Rençber were arrested on the charge of killing their son Şenol on 16 March. Telat Rençber confessed that he killed his son and was with his wife during his interrogation at the gendarmerie. The peasant couple was referred to court on March 17 for “deliberate homicide of a close relative.” The couple were arrested by the court from which they were taken.
