Within the scope of the standardization steps that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that it will be implemented starting Monday, May 11, barbers, hairdressers, beauty salons and shopping centers will be opened that day.

A notable call came from the IMM on the subject.

Claiming that extraordinary restrictions on public transport vehicles continue, İBB informed citizens that they may have difficulties in transport and must remain at home.

“THE CONSEQUENCE IS TO CONTINUE”

The statement is as follows:

* Precious Istanbulites; On Monday May 11, 2020, we expect a significant increase in the use of private cars, but most importantly in public transport, as many companies will be operational again.

* As an important example; There were 1,336,000 public transport passes on Friday, May 8, before the launch that began on May 11.

* Therefore, the most frequent public transport day in Istanbul since March 20 was the last Friday.

* Scientists have explained that the epidemic has spread quickly and easily in public transport vehicles.

* We anticipate that the use of public transportation will increase much more with the new releases to be released on Monday May 11th and we would like to inform our valued people on the following important topics:

* 1. The epidemic is still ongoing, unless it is mandatory, please do not leave the house.

* 2. Instead of using public transportation, choose to walk or bike if possible.

* 3. If you must use public transportation, use public transportation vehicles before 10:00 AM and before 4:00 PM, not during peak hours.

* 4. Protect your physical distance at least 1-2 meters at bus stops, metro stations.

* 5. It is prohibited to travel in public transport vehicles without a mask. Also, be careful not to touch surfaces, stair railings, handles on public transportation.

* 6. Put the masks and gloves you use in the trash bags. Do not put your hands on your face or wash your hands after using public transportation.

EXTRAORDINARY APPLICATIONS TO CONTINUE

* Dear Istanbulites;

* Issue by our Minister of Health stated that the center of the outbreak in Istanbul of Turkey and stressed that the majority of patients and experienced in the death of Istanbul.

* The İBB Scientific Committee stated that the launch that will start on May 11 is an early opening.

* Despite this, no new regulations on public transport were introduced while standardization measures were being taken.

* Then, on May 11 normalization begins, but extraordinary regulations in public transport rules continue.

* As is known, only half the number of passengers can be taken to buses and the subway, and half the number of passengers seated in a standing position is transported.

* This means that a 100-person bus can carry about 25 people, and a 1600-person subway can carry 300 people.

* As strict pandemic practices are ongoing, we will have to wait for some of our passengers at stops on Monday.

* Please wait patiently until our new, empty vehicle arrives.

“PROBLEMS CAN LIVE”

* We would like to point out that all public transport services in Istanbul will operate at 100 percent of capacity on Monday May 11.

* Despite this, it is obvious that there will be problems due to restrictions on passenger transportation.

* With the new agreement, it was decided that commercial taxis will take 3 passengers.

* This means that; 4 people, including the driver, can travel in the area of 2 square meters.

However, such a launch has not yet started on public transportation.

* This time, some of our valued passengers may experience victimization for reasons we don’t have on public transportation on and after Monday.

* We would like to point out to our precious people that the danger of epidemics continues and by staying home as much as possible, protect your health.
