Health professionals working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Service of the Cebeci Hospital of the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine were attacked by relatives of patients last night.
Paramedics tried to protect themselves by holding down doors and barricading medical equipment.

The Union of Social and Health Services Workers (SES), which shared the scandalous images on its social media account, said: “We condemn the violence against health workers who were attacked by patients’ relatives yesterday by the night and tried to protect themselves by holding the doors of the Pediatric Intensive Care Service of the Cebeci Hospital of the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. Our fight against violence in health will continue ”.

The same images were re-experimented in September. Following the news that one of the injured who was transferred to Ankara Keçiören Research and Training Hospital died, relatives attacked medical personnel in the hospital emergency room.
