Esmanur Kartal, daughter of Gafur Kartal, who works in the management unit of the Erzurum Regional Training and Research Hospital, was treated at the hospital where her father worked after he fell ill last month.
Since the congenital immune system is low, the Covid-19 test performed in Esmanur, which receives treatment at the hospital every month, was positive.
10 DAYS IN INTENSIVE CARE
Esmanur, who remained in intensive care for 10 days due to the severe course of the disease, could not save himself on September 13, despite all the intervention of doctors. Esmanur Kartal was buried in tears at the Ilıca Cemetery in the central district of Aziziye.

The Provincial Director of Health Bedir used the following statements in his publication on his social media account;
* He was an angel, he went to the angels. Our precious staff, Gafur Kartal, a 9 year old angel daughter of the Regional Training and Research Hospital staff, succumbed to Kovid-19 and went to the angels.
* All death is premature, but this was very painful. I wish my condolences to my precious brother Gafur Kartal and his precious family, to all his relatives and to our health community, who feel the pain in their hearts.
NUMBER OF CASES INCREASES
According to the table of Wednesday, September 16, published by the Ministry of Health, 63 people lost their lives in the last 24 hours and the loss of lives was 7,249. With the detection of 1,771 new cases, the total number of cases increased to 296,391.
