In our country where there are millions of workers who work around the minimum wage, the minimum wage figure to be determined affects not only the minimum wage employees, but also the beneficiaries who receive payments such as unemployment benefit, short-time allowance , etc. In the introduction to the Constitution of the International Labor Organization (ILO), it is stated that “the salary that provides only the support of the worker and his family is not a sufficient salary to live with dignity. However, the worker must have sufficient salary to live with dignity “.
