The sale of the Hotel Les Ottomans, which has been closed for a while, was first added to the agenda at the end of last year. However, when the concordat case was presented for Kalamos Turizm ve Ticaret AŞ, to which the hotel is affiliated, the sales process was also stopped. When Kalamos Turizm’s bankruptcy decision in the concordat case was issued, the button for its execution was pressed again. The enforcement tender conducted by the Tenth Istanbul Enforcement Office took place yesterday. Akbank became the new owner of the hotel after the tender, which concluded in 20 minutes. It was learned that the bank owns the hotel in exchange for its accounts receivable from the company. On the other hand, Aysal’s Italian-owned energy company, Yeni Elektrik Üretim AŞ, filed for bankruptcy last year. It was found that the economic difficulties experienced by the businessman Aysal in the energy companies of his property negatively affected the rest of the group companies.
