The police officer of the Protection Branch of the Eskişehir Security Directorate warned KB, who spoke loudly on the phone in front of the Tepebaşı District Governorate, where he was on duty in July 2019. The attacker hit the head of police officer A.Ü., who fell to the ground and passed out, with a radio that he took from his hand for minutes. In the incident, which took place around 0440 in the morning, a security guard from a nearby institution also informed the police when the attacker failed to arrest KB. Police teams arrived in no time, captured and detained KB. While the attacker was sent to court he was arrested, police officer A.Ü. He was discharged after his hospital treatment.
The Eskişehir Prosecutor General’s Office sent the accusation it prepared on KB to the 7th Criminal Court of First Instance. The court issued a “non-compete decision” and returned the charge. The prosecution then referred the charges to the 4th Eskişehir High Criminal Court. However, the Superior Criminal Court also issued a “non-compete decision” declaring that KB should be tried in the Criminal Court of First Instance. KB stated that he was very drunk on the night of the incident and said: “I drank alcohol at a friend’s house that night. I don’t remember if I left this house or where I went after I left. I don’t remember that I assaulted anyone or the police. I was very drunk, he showed me the person in the pictures, but I don’t know exactly if it was me or not, I don’t remember if I committed the charges against me. ”The policeman withdrew 4 months after the incident.
