After the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that struck the Seferihisar district of Izmir last Friday, search and rescue teams reached many regions of the country, once again establishing a throne with the lives they saved. I thought of the children and mothers who might be under the rubble with the memories and experiences of the 1999 earthquake. I immediately threw myself into the task, thinking that maybe we could be under that rubble. Do not doubt. My hands are more muddy. He would love to lose any of our citizens.
