In the incident that took place yesterday in the Hacı Ali Öztürk neighborhood, Uğur Dönmez took his mother Vesile Dönmez hostage with a shotgun. Upon realizing that Uğur Dönmez, who was a schizophrenic patient and declared that he had not used his drugs for 15 days, took his mother hostage, the neighbor in the neighborhood reported the situation to the police.
Despite the persuasive efforts of the police teams that came with the tip, Uğur Dönmez shot and killed his mother with a rifle. Uğur Dönmez was captured and detained with the operation organized by the special operations police after the murder.

It was revealed that Uğur Dönmez, who was questioned at the District Police Department, became angry and killed his mother when she woke him up for breakfast.
Dönmez, in his statement, “While I was sleeping on the couch, my mother raised me saying, ‘My son, get up and breakfast is ready.’ I woke up nervous. We started arguing with my mother. I shoved my own shotgun under the sofa where I was sleeping.When my mother saw the gun, I fled to the balcony, he said.
Uğur Dönmez, who was sent to court after his actions at the police station, was arrested by the court where he was taken and sent to prison.
