The heavy storm and hail shower that crossed a certain line started from Cunda Island and spread to the rural districts of Burhaniye. It lost its influence in the Edremit region.
A MUNICIPAL PERSONNEL WAS INJURED
The pimapens in the shops of the old Ayvalık bus station were damaged by the hail that fell from the hazelnuts. On the island of Cunda, the ticket office of the metropolitan municipality of Balıkesir was overturned during a severe storm. The ticket office staff were injured. Municipal staff, who were taken to Ayvalık State Hospital with an ambulance, were taken to the scene.

Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin said the following in his statement:

* There is a power outage on Cunda Island. Currently, our teams are reaching out to our citizens in the countryside, affected by the hail and the storm.
“ALLAH MUST NOT CAUSE”
The rains were also effective in the rural Ağacık district of Burhaniye. Haticenur Tunca, a neighbor of the neighborhood, said: “The rain started suddenly with the storm. We couldn’t understand what was happening. When I had a heavy load on my head, we immediately ran home. There has been no rain in our region for a long time. We want it to rain, but God shouldn’t cause disasters, ”he said.
