Given the recommendation of the Ministry of Health regarding the periods of decline of Covid-19 that expired on May 31, 2020, that the periods of decline of Covid-19 should be extended because the risk of epidemic has not disappeared, Discharge periods under this law for convicted persons who have received Covid-19 are within the scope of this law. It was decided to extend for two (2) months from the date of the date and it was announced to the public.
Since the periods of low Covid-19 will expire on 07/31/2020, the risk of epidemic related to the Covid-19 pandemic has not disappeared with the letter from the General Directorate of Public Health of the Ministry of Health dated 22 / 07/2020 and numbered 13588366-149-E.1224. In line with the proposed two (2) month extension of the Covid-19 license granted to those convicted for the reason, to those convicted who are in penal institutions or who have the right to be separated to open criminal enforcement establishments and that meet the appropriate conditions and those convicted who are decided to sentence through the application of conditional release, Provisional 9/5 of Law No. 5275. It has been decided to extend for two (2) months as of July 31, 2020.
