Ghanaian President Nana Akuffo-Addo said in a television statement that a worker who received a positive test for Kovid-19 in Tema infected 533 workers with the virus.
Akuffo-Addo, who did not elaborate on how the epidemic spread at the factory, said: “It infected all 533 people. Studies have begun to find other people the worker is currently contacting.” said.

While 4,700 cases of Kovid-19 have been seen so far in Ghana, 22 people have died from the virus, the number of people recovering has increased to 494.
According to the latest data from the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC in Africa), the number of people on the continent has increased by 2,668 in the past 24 hours to 63,325.
The number of those who died from Kovid-19 increased by 67, reaching 2,290. So far, 21,821 people have also recovered.
