Expressing his expectations for the new year in his speech, Akşener said:

* In foreign policy, I hope that peace will replace the noise of the struggle. Our geography is a geography that we define as ‘economic geography’, I pray that we will have a foreign policy in 2021 that gets along with our neighbors, can do business instead of fighting and increase the income of its citizens.
“WE LIVE IN A SYSTEM WHERE THE VOICE OF THE NATION DOES NOT REFLECT ON THE ASSEMBLY”

Akşener continued his statement with the following words:
* If there is a reform or improvement in the entire economy and in terms of the rule of law in terms of justice, my advice to Mr. Erdogan is to bring the parties together to achieve the improved and strengthened parliamentary system faster and bring the ‘Mesa de la Patria ‘that we propose.

Akşener criticized violence against women when asked about her thoughts on the Istanbul convention and violence against women and spoke as follows:
