Noting that 6 different contracts were signed for the supply of the Covid-19 vaccine, Castex stressed that his country will have a capacity of 200 million doses for 100 million people. Castex noted that in the first stage, the vaccine will primarily affect those staying in nursing homes and healthcare workers. Specifying that in the second stage, people in the risk group will be vaccinated from February 2021 until spring, Castex said that in the third stage, the vaccine will be aimed at the entire population after spring. Castex stated that his country’s vaccine strategy will be submitted to the National Assembly for approval.
