In a statement made on Twitter, the Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, stated that “100 thousand active people travel between cities” was manifested in the false information disseminated on social networks in reference to the news in a newspaper.
The husband noted the following in his statement:
“We do not have 100,000 active patients. 100,000 people in question refer to positive or contact persons who should have been in isolation, whose travel was prevented by the HES code until that date. 125,246 people who try to travel by public transport with the HES code are risky. This number represents the total number of people blocked since we started using the HEPP code. One of our main objectives is to popularize the use of the HES code.
