Huseyin Arslan, married and father of 2 children, who works as an execution clerk at Söke prison, went on vacation to Didim on his annual vacation. Arslan set out with his vehicle to return to his home in Söke on Sunday, but when he did not return home, his relatives became curious. The security forces took action after his family submitted a disappearance request to the gendarmerie.

The teams, which examined the mobese records between Didim and Söke, eventually spotted Arslan’s car near Balat Mahallesi. Searches were intensified in this region with the participation of AFAD teams.

It was found in the car irrigation canal belonging to Hüseyin Arslan, around 10:30 p.m. yesterday. The car was pulled out of the irrigation canal with a crane, but Arslan was not seen in the vehicle.

LIVE BODY FOUND

Teams from the Izmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command (SAT) Submarine Search and Rescue Team found the body of Hüseyin Arslan after a 2-hour search. Arslan’s body, which was pulled out of the water, was sent to the Izmir Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy.
