Police teams carried out an operation in a warehouse in Çiğli district of İzmir in the framework of the fight against counterfeit alcohol.
Approximately 5 tons of ethyl alcohol were seized in the framework of the operation.
The suspect named HG, who was known to be the code name in the ethyl alcohol distribution, was also detained by the teams.
HG was known to be delivered with a vehicle containing ethyl alcohol.

An operation was also carried out in Istanbul.
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department’s Smuggling Section raided the workplace producing fake drinks in Avcılar Firuzköy under the pretext of manufacturing cosmetic products.
