The adaptation program that will take place from September 21 to 25, which is the first week that schools are open, will be in the form of “1 day of face-to-face education” in preschool and first grade primary schools.

Student participation in face-to-face education will not be mandatory, and parents may facilitate the student to continue distance education on a voluntary basis without submitting a written request.

The adaptation program, in which the school administrations will decide together with the teachers on which day it will be in the week of September 21 to 25, 1 day in early childhood education institutions with 5 hours of 30-minute activity, 5 teaching hours of 30 minutes in the first grades and 10 ‘. It will be planned for 1 day with breaks of every minute.

It will be ensured that the class size is divided into two separate groups according to the rules of social distance and that the school adjustment program for each group is on different days.

The necessary instructions will be given to students to comply with social distance during breaks.

The week after the integration week, which covers the dates from September 28 to October 2, and then, 2 days a week, 5 lessons of 30 minutes each, face-to-face trainings will be held. A 10 minute break will be given between class hours.

School administrations will carry out the necessary planning, including duty of duty, to maintain social distance between students during breaks.

– Visitors to schools will not be accepted.

In this process, visitors will not be accepted to the schools unless it is mandatory, and in case of need, the visitor will be registered and accepted according to the measures.

During the activities of the adaptation program, children in preschool and 1st grade will be informed about healthy living. In addition to activities such as hygiene, social distance, getting rid of fear and anxiety, activities will be organized so that students get to know the school and its employees.

In the activities elaborated with the motto “There is no education without health”, the questions and expectations of all the actors regarding education will be included.

The Ministry has prepared the “Book of Contactless Games” for preschool and first grade students to adapt to the new normal in an entertaining way by more easily internalizing the mask, social distance and personal hygiene conditions . The books have been released to teachers for use in all schools beginning September 21.

Each of the 60 games in the book, which does not involve any physical contact, is designed in a way that helps the development of “encounter, communication, attention, movement and cooperation” in children. The games, which are designed to be played both in the classroom and in open areas, were prepared in a way that provided sufficient social distance between students and there was no need to use common materials.

– After the integration week, they will go to school two days a week.

– Schools prepared for face-to-face training

On the other hand, according to the statement from the Ministry of Education, before face-to-face education begins on September 21, preparations were completed to bring the first grade students of Infant and Primary Education closer to their schools, the central coordination and from the Ministry field received instant notifications and all units worked in a coordinated manner.

Information meetings for parents were held in all provinces under the coordination of the provincial directorates. – Alert mechanism ready

In addition, in the scope of the Kovid-19 measures, the integration system and the alert mechanism established between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health were also developed. Thanks to the system, instant notifications will be made to the administrators of the educational institution in case of a possible risk to students, teachers, all employees of educational institutions and school bus drivers.

The school administrations will act immediately after the notification received and will implement the procedures in the guide of the Ministry of Health and the necessary measures will be taken. In the event of a potential hazard, the system will warn other students riding together in the student’s classroom or even on the school bus, and will take action.
