In Uşak, gas was cut off yesterday in the city due to the failure of the main natural gas pipeline. Gas has been phased in since last night. Today, natural gas explosions have occurred in homes in some parts of the city.
A large number of firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after the natural gas explosion in two buildings in the Atatürk district, on Second Şeker Sokak Street and Sixth Yunus Emre Street.
Two people injured in the explosion at the Second Şeker Sokak building and 3 people injured in the explosion at the Altıncı Yunus Emre street building were taken to surrounding hospitals.

CHP MP WARNING
CHP Uşak MP Özkan Yalım made an important warning on his Twitter account after the blasts. Yalım said: “I especially warn all our citizens that the natural gas valves; you must check if both the stove and the heater are off, I especially warn you not to activate before the equipment arrives !!!” made the statement.
