CHP Kayseri MP Çetin Arık, speaking at his party’s 7th Ordinary Congress, stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a public investment of 30 billion lira in Kayseri in 18 years and said: “Despite this Whoever says ‘Kayseri is not getting enough of a share of public investment’ Believe me, he will stand on his eyes and knee ”.
Expressing that Erdogan’s words are not closely related to reality, Arık stated that the most invested provinces are listed on the website of the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Turkey, saying: “It is stated that Ankara is in second place with 42 billion lira and Izmir is in third place with an investment of 17 billion lira. These cities are followed by Diyarbakır, Mardin, Konya and Bursa. So Kayseri is definitely not in the top 7 provinces. But even if we foresee that Kayseri received the same amount of investment as İzmir in said period, 13 billion lira should have been made in Kayseri in 2 years. Have you invested 13 billion lira in Kayseri in 2 years? In other words, do the President’s words personally refute the data of the Presidency of the Presidency of Strategy and Budget? He said.
“LIE”
Stating that data from the Development Ministry, which is not active today, also refuted Erdogan’s words, Arık continued his statements as follows:
‘Kayseri, not to mention receiving 17 billion aid between 2002 and 2018, received only 4 thousand 203 million 488 thousand TL of public investment between 2001-2018, according to data from the Ministry of Development. In the same period, Balıkesir received a surplus of 0.01 percent from Kayseri, 4 billion 245 million 071 thousand TL, Gaziantep a surplus of 17.67 percent, 4 billion 946 million 068 thousand TL, Adana a surplus of 46.05 percent to 6 billion 139 million 278 thousand TL, Bursa received a surplus of 104.13 percent, 8 billion 580 million 621 thousand TL and Konya received a surplus of 114.66 percent, 9 billion 023 million 257 thousand TL. Does Kayseri deserve this? Upon receiving 481 million 886 thousand TL of public investments in 2017, Kayseri was only 78 among 81 provinces in terms of public investments per capita. Is this what Kayseri deserves? “
“ASKED BÜYÜKKILIÇ”
Stating that the AKP chairman was removed by his advisers this time, Arık said: “The AK Party chairman says that the classrooms philanthropists have built in Kayseri as public investment. The AK Party chairman says the stadium was built with Kayseri’s resources as a public investment. Kayseri, who does not go without making public investment of the AK Party, says his divided path. Because they didn’t invest in Kayseri. I wish the AK Party chief had asked the mayor of the Kayseri metropolitan municipality if Kayseri received public investment instead of reading the false information written by the editors. I am sure that Mr Büyükkılıç would say again that Kayseri did not get enough of the public investment as he explained earlier. Anyone who says that Kayseri gets what she deserves from public investments is telling a lie and a lie. Look at the figures for the ministries that claim otherwise. Unfortunately, they tricked the AK Party leader again, ”he said.
