The market value of electric car maker Tesla has decreased by $ 14 billion after the latest tweet from its founder, Elon Musk. “I think Tesla’s stock price is too high,” Musk said in his tweet.
The American Wall Street Journal wrote that he asked Musk if he was joking after his tweet and received a “No” answer.
Tesla’s shares gained value this year.
The company’s market value had approached $ 100 billion at the same time.
If Tesla’s market value found this amount, Musk would receive hundreds of millions of dollars in premiums.
He paid $ 20 million in 2018
Elon Musk was fined $ 20 million by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) after a tweet where Tesla interpreted his future on the New York Stock Exchange.
Musk also had to leave the company presidency.
The last two tweets from the Tesla founder were “My girlfriend was mad at me” and “I sell almost all my properties, I will not be a host.”
Elon Musk has 33 million 400 thousand followers on Twitter.
Musk had harshly criticized curfews in the United States this week.
