In Ankara, around 01:00 on September 18, the police stopped the vehicle used by Ozan Erbaş on Çetin Emeç Boulevard and alcohol was checked.

THE COURT CANCELED THE PENALTY
The Eighth Ankara Criminal Court of Peace decided to abolish the fine imposed on Erbaş and return his license. In the decision, the first hour of measurement at 01:00, the alcohol content was 1.05 average; However, it was noted that the alcohol rate was understood to be 0.20 average in the test conducted by Ankara State Hospital 29 Mayıs at 01.37, and it was stated that “based on this, the decrease in the alcohol rate of 1.05 average to 0.20 average in a 37 minute interval shows a contradiction.
‘THE RESULT OF THE BLOOD ANALYSIS MUST BE LOOKED’
Erbaş, whose sentence was canceled, explained that he had 1.05 promil alcohol when he blew the alcohol meter for the first time and said: “But even though I said I did not drink as much alcohol, they did not blow it a second time and did not give up my right to wait minutes. They got my direct license and they punished me. I also opposed this, I said ‘I want to see the result of my blood’. They took me to the hospital. My blood result turned out to be 0.20 percent alcohol, not 1.05. We had a 15 day appeal period. We raised our objection with my attorney. We work for about 3 months. We had many difficulties in this process. The court decided to return the driver’s license and cancel the fine. Promilmetreler does not have a complete result, I demand that the sanctions be imposed based on the result of the blood test, consequently, the documents of the drivers must be obtained and the sanctions must not be so severe ”.
