It has been announced that preschool students in Istanbul will take distance education five days a week instead of face-to-face education.

Due to the increase in the number of patients in the coronavirus epidemic, it has been decided that education and training in all classes except preschool should be done remotely until January. The fact that preschool students will train in person five days a week was presented to the judiciary. Ultimately, the final decision for these classes was left to the provincial and district boards.

In the statement published after today’s meeting of the Provincial General Hygiene Council, it was recalled that the decision to move to distance education for preschool students, which was decided to receive face-to-face education until January 4, was left to hands of the provincial and district boards.

In the statement, the new measures taken based on this decision were explained below:

“Considering the course of the Covid-19 epidemic, between December 1, 2020 and January 4, 2021, the official kindergartens and preschools and practical classes in our city will continue to carry out education-training activities through distance education; It was decided to ensure that it is fulfilled along the way.
