The accident occurred in the morning in the Altındağ Martyr Ömer Halisdemir Boulevard district. The municipal bus with registration 06 BV 9223 under the direction of Mustafa Uğur got out of the driver’s control in rainy weather and hit the overpass and elevator on the road. In the accident, 12 people were injured, including the driver Mustafa Uğur. The people around made the first intervention to the wounded. Firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The driver, Mustafa Uğur, who was trapped in the vehicle, was rescued by the effort of firefighters. The injured were taken by ambulances to Dışkapı Research and Training Hospital.
In his first statement, Uğur, who was in treatment, claimed that he lost control of the bus as a result of the rain due to a vehicle smashing him from behind.
