The Vice Minister of the Interior and the Ministry Spokesperson İsmail Çataklı held the ‘Monthly Information Meeting for the Press’, which included the August ministerial activities. At the information meeting held at the Interior Ministry, Çataklı stated that the curfew is not currently on the agenda.

Çataklı, who also responded to questions from the press, stated that there is no curfew decision on the agenda. Emphasizing that citizens should exercise more caution at events such as the dismissal of soldiers and wedding association organizations, Çataklı said: “We expect greater sensitivity from our citizens. The Scientific Board of the Ministry of Health makes an evaluation and makes a recommendation. The Interior Ministry makes a decision based on these recommendations. This is a dynamic process. From time to time certain measures are taken, but there is no decision or evaluation regarding the curfew. At this stage, such a situation is out of the question ”.
