After the first intervention by the medical teams, he was transferred by ambulances to the Pendik Research and Training Hospital of Marmara University and treated. Serhat K., who was seriously injured in the attack, was reported to be in mortal danger.

It was learned that Ümit K., one of the suspects who escaped in a taxi after the attack, was injured in the foot as a result of one of the ricocheting bullets. Ümit K., who learned that he had gone to the Kartal Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital on his own, was treated here. The other assailant, Mustafa B., was detained by the police.
