The priest named Michal Woznicki, who was recently expelled from the Salezian sect in Poznan, Poland, was reported to the police by other members of the sect on the grounds that he did not perform rituals in accordance with the measures of the new type of coronavirus (Covid -19) in the priesthood.
Police teams arrived at the specified address and found Father Woznicki performing a ritual with his two assistants in the room-sized chapel. The teams determined that the priest and his assistants were unmasked, and that the other 7 people who attended the ritual did not have masks and that the rule of social distance was not observed.
They behaved against the rules
While the police verified the identity of the assistants, the priest and his assistants refused to show the police identity. The police recalled that social distance was not maintained and that the ritual performed without a mask was against the rules and asked the priest and his assistants to present their identities again.
PAPAZ AND TWO ASSISTANTS WERE DETENTED
The priest and his assistants continued the ritual, ignoring the police request. Immediately afterwards, police teams arrested the priest and two of his assistants. The priest and his two assistants, who were arrested amid the objections of the assistants, were released after their procedures at the police station.
The moments in which the priest was arrested by being dragged into the arms of two policemen were recorded by a parishioner. İHA
