One semester FenerbahceCroatian coach who also runs Otto Bariç, new kind coronaviruse (Covid-19) died at the age of 87 after being captured.
In Croatian press news, it was claimed that the Croatian footballer, who was hospitalized ten days ago after his health condition worsened from contracting Covid-19 and he was treated with oxygen, lost his fight for survival.
Baric, who played for the Croatian capital Zagreb’s Metalac and Lokomotiv teams during his football career, began his coaching career in 1964.
Baric, who worked at Fenerbahçe in 1997-98, achieved the biggest successes of his career with the Austrian teams Rapid Wien and Casino Salzburg.
Otta Baric, who won 3 league titles and a UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup final with Rapid Wien, two league titles with Casino Salzburg and a UEFA Cup final, participated in the national teams of Austria, Croatia and Albania in the last years of his coaching career.
