British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that a national curfew has been re-declared to control the growing number of coronavirus cases in the country.

Prime Minister Johnson stated that the new variant of the coronavirus spread 50 to 70 percent faster than the previous wave, and that this puts pressure on hospital capacity.

Saying they are taking new steps to reduce the burden on hospitals, Johnson called on everyone to “stay home.” Warning that the next few weeks will be “difficult”, Johnson, referring to the vaccination studies, said: “I think we are entering the last stage of the fight.”

According to the new measures, access to the street is restricted except for purchases of basic necessities, physical exercise and access to health services. Employees in sectors that cannot support themselves from home will also be exempt from the restrictions.
