In Bursa, TA, whose coronavirus test was positive, she was seen while working in the wedding hall, despite being in quarantine. After TA’s images were revealed, a lawsuit was filed against her, demanding a prison term of up to 1 year.
TA, who was working at the wedding hall in the rural Kurşunlu district of İnegöl district, was quarantined on August 27 due to the positive test for coronavirus. TA, who should be in quarantine, worked at the wedding hall on September 5. TA work moments were recorded by a person on a cell phone. Upon receiving the information that the suspect was working in the wedding hall while he should have been in quarantine, teams from the İnegöl Gendarmerie Command examined the videos and photos taken at the wedding. Upon detection, TA was fined 3,150 lira for not complying with the coronavirus measures.
The İnegöl Prosecutor General’s Office launched an investigation against TA. A lawsuit was filed against TA, demanding a prison sentence of up to 1 year for “violating infectious disease regulations”.
