THE CRIME OF DRUGGING HISMAN AND ACCOMMODATION
Özdemir was detained in the framework of the investigation initiated by the Izmir Prosecutor General’s Office and was detained by the Office of the 3rd Criminal Magistrate, where he was transferred, accused of inciting the public to hatred and hostility, and remained in prison for 9 days.
The prosecutor demanded that Özdemir be punished for inciting the public to hatred and enmity through the press, and the accusation began to be heard in the 50th Criminal Court of First Instance.

At the last hearing in the case, the court acquitted Özdemir.
CHP İzmir Provincial President Deniz Yücel announced the news that Özdemir was acquitted.
