President Erdogan called his ambassador to France again, after the words “he needs mental treatment” against Macron. While there was no step back from anti-Islamism in the country, President Erdogan took his stance a step further and called for a boycott of French products.
After all these events, while waiting for a move to reduce tension in France, the so-called Charlie Hebdo humor magazine was prepared for publication with a cover addressed directly to President Erdogan.

While harsh reactions were expected from Ankara, the first statement came from Fahrettin Altun, Head of Communications. “The anti-Muslim agenda of French President Macron is coming to fruition! Charlie Hebdo has published a series of so-called cartoons filled with despicable images of our president, supposedly on his Twitter account in English. We condemn.” He said.
Stating that the so-called cartoons lack a sense of decency, Altun said: “This is clearly the product of xenophobia, Islamophobia and an intolerant cultural environment. We will not remain silent in the face of the heinous attacks against,” he said.
Emphasizing that President Erdogan is one of the most humanitarian leaders recently, Altun said: “Those who do not lift their finger to help women, children and the disabled are now targeting our leader with their obscenity.“These senseless and irresponsible attacks on our nation will only fuel racism and discrimination.”
At the end of his message, Altun called on all European countries to fight against cultural racism and uncivilized rhetoric.

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey also opposed anti-Islamic rhetoric in France.
