In the scope of the investigation carried out under the coordination of the Ceyhan Prosecutor General’s Office, police teams organized an operation to establish an organization to commit a crime and capture 23 people who were arrested for bribery and extortion.
Teams that searched the city hall and the suspects’ addresses detained the suspects, including former President Kadir Aydar.
23 suspects, who were examined at the Adana Forensic Medicine Unit, were brought to the police station for questioning.
The Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) decided in March to cancel Aydar’s registration due to his criminal record sanction.
