Breaking news: very important message in ‘language’ from President Erdogan: he is doomed to overthrow

[ad_1]

The highlights of President Erdogan’s statements are as follows;

On the occasion of this significant ceremony, I am pleased to receive you at the Presidential Complex. I would like to thank each of you individually on behalf of my nation. Growing, growing, knowledge for the establishment of a suitable climate for Turkey, our connoisseurs of culture and art express my gratitude to each one.

We were unable to perform our ceremony last year due to the extraordinary conditions we experienced. Today, we will deliver the 2019 and 2020 awards together.

In this context, I warmly congratulate the artists who brought to life the Modern Odunpazarı Museum, the Antakya Choir of Civilizations, the Mim Art Academy and the Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts.

Many stars from the academy and our artistic community signed up in both 2020 and January 2021. Yesterday we said goodbye to our professor, sociologist Nur Vergin, one of the most competent names in the field of social sciences in our country. Miss Filiz Şağman, we lost. I wish God’s mercy on our culture, arts and scientists who lost their lives.

Besides Istanbul, which is a value in itself, we have places that have been the cradle of civilizations from Hatay to Kayseri, from Ürgüp to Hasankeyf. You cannot find the works in Topkapı in terms of capacity and variety in any museum in the world.

“EVERYWHERE WE GO YOU SEE A BRAND THAT ECDAD LEFT BEHIND”

Our nation, constantly enriching ancient heritage, has produced rare works in different fields of culture, from architecture to music. We find these works in every corner of our geography. Wherever we go, you come across a trail left by an ancestor.

They say that “money changers know the value of gold.” Unfortunately, the value of these works, reflecting the glory of our civilization, was not known for many years. Serious difficulties were also experienced in terms of adequately claiming our culture and cultural heritage. The sterile and intolerant perspective has turned its back on our civilizational heritage of thousands of years.

Many cultural and artistic works that connect us with our history were abandoned in this period, either in the basements of museums or on their dusty shelves. Indifference gave way to ignorance and negligence gave way to reckoning over time. We know that there are people who have dedicated themselves to protecting history, art and culture in the face of this demolition team. These few bitter people have tried to keep our treasure alive. These people also showed us the universal aspect of art.

Mr. Nejat Çuhadaroğlu and Süleyman Saim Pekcan are among the pioneers of these art volunteers. Sir. Çuhadaroğlu collected the works that he collected with a thousand pains over thirty years in the museum and presented them for the benefit of our nation. The Istanbul Graphic Arts Museum, founded under the direction of Saim Tekcan, houses many works.

Mim Art Gallery contributes to the enrichment of our national culture with its works in the field of plastic arts. In this museum, innovative teachers of the Turkish arts have been trained under the supervision of the most competent teachers since 2011.

We can’t pay for our teachers’ fees, whatever we do. I would like to thank everyone who defends Turkish culture and art. I believe that Turkish culture and art will continue to advance on this path opened by our teachers until they reach their well deserved place.

“MAALESEF WE IGNORE THE LANGUAGE THAT IS THE CARRIER OF CULTURE”

Unfortunately, in discussions about culture, we neglect the language that carries that culture. The cultural issue in our country is often evaluated by experts outside the language issue. However, if the culture that takes a nation from the past to the past, the most important element of that culture is the language. Culture is formed in the mold of the language and passed on to subsequent generations in the language. There is no human, family, society, culture or civilization without language.

MESSAGE ‘LANGUAGE’

Nations that do not protect their tongues are doomed to fall before the winds, like trees whose roots are drying up. Peyami Safa expresses this by saying “A nation that has lost its language has lost everything.” We don’t pay enough attention to the language problem.

We do not pay the attention it deserves to the Turk, who is the sign of our national identity and memory. Of course, the desolation of our tongue under the name of purification for a period also plays a part in this. On the path taken with the intention of simplifying the language, our Turk was subjected to the greatest massacre of words in its history. In the hands of the executioners of the language, our beautiful Turk is trapped in a dead end. It has been full of expressions of French origin for a period and of English origin recently. Young people cannot even read and understand the tombstone of their grandfather, who passed away a century ago.

He gave only one example and criticized it

Even our college graduates have a hard time reading what was written 70 or 80 years ago. This terrible panorama has been aggravated in recent years by the language of social networks and the language of the plaza. “Forwarding”, “to be done” … We are almost prisoners of undersecretaries in language. Of course, getting words from other languages is a wealth.

Instead of using Turkish verbs and words, their foreign language equivalents are not used, but the essence of our language is destroyed with tense structures that are not available in Turkish. Another dimension is that this strange language is respected in some segments of society. This language problem is at the root of the difficulties we encounter in many areas, from human relations to education.

If we as a nation have a cultural cause, we must first start with the Turk. I believe that we can protect our culture and our nation as long as we protect our language. One of the biggest investments we will make in our future will be to improve and protect our Turkish against the invasion of foreign languages without repeating the mistakes of those who preceded us. Language as a living being requires work like every living being. Many segments have important duties in this regard.

I want all of our writers and theologians, especially you, our people of culture and art, to protect our language. At the end of my words, I congratulate our teachers who will once again receive an award and wish them success in their future endeavors.
