Two of the five people who were detained as part of the investigation into the attack on health professionals at the Keçiören Research and Training Hospital were sent to the Criminal Justice of the Peace for arrest.
In the investigation initiated by the Ankara Prosecutor General’s Office, the suspects, who were taken into custody, were transferred to the Ankara Palace of Justice after their actions at the police station.
The suspects gave a statement to the prosecutor Lütfü Karakuş, who was conducting the investigation.
The prosecutor Karakuş referred suspects MDÖ and SK to be detained, and Y.Ö, MSÖ and BO to the Criminal Justice of the Peace requesting their release on condition of judicial control.
The Ankara Prosecutor General’s Office launched an investigation against the suspects for “damaging public property” and “resisting in failing to do their duty” by accepting notifications of filming related to actions against health workers.

It was learned that Soykan K, one of the suspects who were referred to the court with the request for his arrest, said in his statement to the prosecution: “When I received the news of the death, I punched the glass. I did not have a action against health workers. I did not commit violence against anyone. Muhammet Devran Ö was said to have said: “The deceased is my aunt’s son. We went to the hospital with relatives when we received the information that he was dead. I did nothing. ”The other suspects were also said to have said they had no action against the health workers and the hospital.

Photos surfaced of the moments when the suspects broke open the door regarding the attack on health professionals at the Ankara Keçiören Research and Training Hospital. In the photos, the suspects were seen arguing with health professionals and banging on the door. In photographs taken from security camera records of the incident at the hospital, Fırat Ö. and Ahmet Önün were taken to the hospital, and then Ahmet Önün’s wife brought down the computer at the entrance. In addition, it was seen that the group crowded in front of the animation room, the police set up barricades and the suspects and some other people arrested in the incident hit the walls of that sector with the door they installed to prevent the health workers from opening .
