Bülent Erkan, who passed through the forest zone about a kilometer from the neighborhood on Sunday, December 13, was captured by the photo trap placed in the forest by the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests. The İspir National Parks and Nature Conservation Directorate, upon seeing the images, filed a criminal complaint against Erkan alleging that he violated the weekend curfew. Erkan, who went to the İspir district gendarmerie station, was fined 789 TL for violating the decision of the Erzurum Provincial Hygiene Board.
‘I DIDN’T DESERVE THIS’
Bulent Erkan, who made a statement while going to the gendarmerie station, stated that he was working as a cleaning officer in İspir municipality and said:
“On Friday, December 11, before the bans started, I camped alone in the Fındıklı neighborhood. I was here on Friday and Saturday. I was roaming the countryside to feed the birds at noon on Sunday. Monday morning I went to the district with the intention that my place would not be prohibited. If I knew that the curfew is also valid for the mountainous area, I would not go to the camp. I always carry a camera in my bag and take photos of nature in the places I go to. I have a licensed registered hunting rifle, but it stays at home because it is broken. I have no hunting license, I do not hunt, I also warn those who hunt. recognize it as. inform students about nature and it would raise awareness in the four corners of Turkey. Üzer I do not accept the accusation about hunting on the mark. I think Turkey is the only person in the photo traps until my curfew violation was caught for the penalty of eating. “
