President Recep Tayyip Erdogan makes statements at the Symposium on International Maritime Law and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Highlights from President Erdogan’s speech:
” Turkey will continue to support Azerbaijan. Once again I condemn Armenia. All other actions will provide an opportunity to spoil Armenia. With the immediate abandonment of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by Armenia, the region will regain peace and tranquility.
The crisis that began with the Nagorno-Karabakh occupation of the region must end.

The occupied lands are the lands of Azerbaijan. Almost 1 million people live far from their land. Saying: “Now is the time to do the math”, Azerbaijan inevitably had to cut its own belly.
The events have provided an opportunity for all countries with influence in the region to implement realistic and fair methods of solution.
‘FAR MEDITERRANEAN IN TURKEY NOT THE HOUSE OF THE OWNER’
It would not be wrong to say that global politics has been shaped by developments on the Mediterranean axis in recent months. Turkey is a Mediterranean country. Here, as throughout history, we are not guests but hosts. Every movement, every step that is taken in the Mediterranean has a direct impact on the security, rights and interests of our country.
The Mediterranean is the roof and home of our great family. As heirs to the Ottoman peace in the Mediterranean, we are in favor of peace, not tension.
REACTION TO THE MAP OF SEVILLE OF GREECE
What is the map of Seville. Who drew the lines on this map where and how. If we want, we can do such a study with Istanbul and the University of Marmara.
We can solve the problems in the Mediterranean not by excluding ourselves, but by bringing together all the actors in the region at the same table. Mediterranean peace does not come from any equations between Turkey and TRNC.
In particular, the European Union did not take advantage of diplomatic opportunities and gave in to the spoils of Greece and the Greek Cypriot side.
