The last minimum wage meeting date has been announced and will take effect in 2021.
Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister for Family, Labor and Social Services, announced that the last meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will be held on Monday, December 28.
The meeting will be hosted by the Ministry on Monday at 10.30 am. The meeting will be chaired by Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister for Family, Labor and Social Services.

The minimum wage is still applied as gross 2,943 lira per month for a single worker, and a net of 2,324 kuruş lira 71 when taxes and deductions are reduced. For apartment workers, unlike normal workers, the net 2,501 lira is calculated at 55 kurus, since no income or stamp taxes are charged.
The total cost of the minimum wage for the employer is 3,458 lire for a worker. This is 2,943 lira gross minimum wage, 456 lira 17 kuruş social security premium, 58 lira 86 kuruş employer’s unemployment insurance fund.
