Breaking news … 3 people were killed in the knife attack near the Notre-Dame church in Nice in the morning in France. The prosecutor Jean François Ricard shared information about the terrorist who carried out the attack in Nice, in a statement.
The prosecutor François stated that the attacker was born in 1999 and is of Tunisian origin. Claiming that the terrorist had an identity card issued by the Italian Red Cross, the prosecutor François announced that the attacker arrived in Italy at the end of September. François stated that the attacker arrived in Bari, Italy on October 9 and entered France illegally.
The prosecutor announced that the terrorist was not recognized by intelligence and that he entered the Nice station at 6.47 am and changed his clothes. Noting that the attacker arrived in front of the church at 8:29, the prosecutor François stated that the terrorist remained there for about half an hour and then attacked 3 people.
Stating that 4 police officers intervened and neutralized the attacker with weapons at 8:57, the prosecutor François claimed that the wounded terrorist was taken to hospital and his life was still in danger.
The prosecutor claimed that the assailant had 2 phones and 3 knives, while the assailant cut the throat of a 60-year-old woman, wounded a 55-year-old man in the throat and stabbed a 44-year-old woman to death.
“Without a doubt, the intervention of the police prevented an even more dramatic result,” said the prosecutor François.
