During the pandemic, no cases of coronavirus were observed in the village of Aliobasi, which has a population of 600 and 600 inhabitants in the Amasra district. The Demirören News Agency (DHA) spreads news from all the provinces of Turkey after their home and village increased the demand for organic products. In the town of Aliobası, which continues with its daily life, the citizens strictly follow the rules of mask and distance. Muhtar Ramazan Tığ visits all the houses in the village one by one and warns about compliance with the measures. Mukhtar Tığ, who has distributed thousands of masks in the village so far, continues to distribute masks to citizens from the early hours of the morning.
‘I can’t reach the phones’
Tığ said they are proud of themselves and said: “No case has been seen in 10 months. As of today, there are still no cases, we continue this process. Many citizens called us, many people from Izmir, Istanbul, Ankara and Çanakkale. It was like my phone was locked. There were many who demanded land from the callers. They want vacant lots and houses. Those who want to build a villa also look to me. Some people say ‘how did you do this?’ And I tell them ‘we did it following the rules of mask, distance and hygiene’. We do not bring people to our town from outside. We will overcome this process by not removing people from our village unless there is an emergency. “The people who live in my town are very sensitive.”
Stating that they receive orders for the products they produce in their villages, Tığ said: “They want honey and mulberry molasses every day. We have received many requests about this. We can no longer catch up. We trust our organic products, ”he said.
‘WE CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THE RULES’
Ali Özer, who lives in the village, said: “Everything in our village is beautiful, the air is clean, everything is organic. We do not leave the town, strictly following the rules that are said. We also do not accept guests indoors. We are very careful with our diet. “There is no virus at the moment, I hope the virus does not reach this village,” he said.
