Turkey’s neighbor comes to the new measures against the corona virus in Greece.

Greek Prime Minister Kiriakos Miçotakis announced new measures.

Prime Minister Miçotakis announced that he will begin a three-week quarantine application across the country starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, November 7.

The Greek prime minister said: “Schools will be open during the quarantine process that will continue until November 30. Distance education will take place in secondary schools, high schools and universities.”

Normal education will continue in primary schools, kindergartens and nurseries.

Miçotakis said: “The detection of almost 10,000 new cases in the last 5 days left the government in quarantine. I chose to take the radical changes early, without leaving them later.”

Although a total of 46,000 cases have been detected in Greece so far, 673 people have died due to the corona virus.

SUPPORT FOR WORKERS WHO CANNOT WORK

Workers whose business life will be affected due to the quarantine measures will also be paid by the state.

Miçotakis said that “the State will give 800 euros a month to workers who cannot work due to the measures. Those who have been unemployed for a long time and do not receive unemployment benefits will receive 400 euros,” he said.
