The highlights of President Erdogan’s statements are as follows;
This meeting has two main axes; one teacher, two students. During my student years, I received a letter written by a student to his teacher. The introduction of that letter was very interesting. The student then takes his place as demand because the plaintiff; the teacher is also a teacher. I will express it in detail a little later today; I find the opening ceremony of these schools significant.
I wish the educational facilities we open in Ankara to be beneficial. Today, we offer 326 education and training facilities serving our Ankara brothers with a single opening ceremony. Among these educational facilities, there are from kindergarten to fine arts high school, from imam hatip high school to fine arts. While some were built from scratch, some were demolished and rebuilt. With 7,541 new classrooms, we increased the total number of classrooms in Ankara to 49,700. The rate of our schools providing individual education in our city will increase to 95 percent. In this way, we will have crossed another threshold by completely eliminating the issue of dual education in our capital.
When we took on the task of managing our country, we promised that we will raise Turkey on four main pillars. When we go back and do an accounting, we pride ourselves on delivering on our promises to our nation in all fields, from defense to transportation, from trade to foreign policy to energy. In the last 18 years, we have spent most of it on education.
APPOINTMENT HEALTH
We will appoint 20 thousand more teachers in the coming months. We will continue our way stronger. I wish the new 20 thousand appointments are already beneficial.
With the 7,541 new classrooms we put into service, we have increased the total number of classrooms in Ankara to 49,700.
We used to wait for books in stationary rows. Now we put the glossy books on the desks and hand them out to our students. Turkey prohibits in recent years, fear, queues … He was once the country that needs to be struck in the words of the old penny. With the investments we have made in education in 18 years, we have put an end to the embarrassing pictures that do not suit our country. We completely renew our infrastructure.
As in all areas of life, needs, expectations, and data change over time in education. How Turkey is way ahead of 20 years after 20 years, if it is different from Turkey today, it will be different from today. We will not forget what conditions we come from.
We need to learn a lesson from the past but take firm steps into the future without getting stuck in the past.
IMMUNIZATION PROCESS
Countries that invest in communications technology and infrastructure on time are more easily overtaken by the epidemic process. The WHO made the latest statement in Turkey. He announced that the epidemic would end in early 2022, hopefully. I hope that our expectations go in this direction. Vaccination was our most successful country with Turkey. Thank goodness we found 7.5 million as of yesterday. There is no relaxation. We are taking new measures.
FACE-TO-FACE EDUCATION
We are making great efforts to reunite our teachers and students as soon as possible. With the decrease in the number of cases and patients, I hope that we are gradually starting face-to-face training. Beginning March 1, we will switch to classroom education 2 days a week in elementary schools and 5 days in classes and special education. We will continue taking new steps in the coming days.
