The fire occurred around 04:00 in a 5-story building on 804 street, Kazım Karabekir district. Based on the information obtained, it was alleged that a fire broke out in the electric stove on the top floor of the 5-story building. The mother, who woke up in the morning, noticed the fire, but when she couldn’t hear her son Serhat Çakmak (26) with whom she lived, she panicked. In a panic, the mother reported the situation to emergency department 112.
Fire, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. As the fire department, which arrived at the scene, took control of the fire, they noticed that the 26-year-old was sleeping in the room. Given this, the medical teams who arrived at the house determined that Çakmak died after being affected by the smoke.
CAUSE OF FIRE IN REVIEW ELECTRIC STOVE
After the work of the medical teams and the fire department, the police conducted an investigation at the scene. In the examination carried out by the firefighters, they determined that the fire was caused by the electric stove. After the examination, the body of the young man, who had learned to work in a jeweler, was brought to the Gaziosmanpaşa Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy. As the body of the young man was removed, his family and loved ones wailed through tears.

The neighbor of the late young man Agit Güler, who recounted the incident, said: “When we woke up in the morning, we heard a scream or something like that. We went out too, the police came, an ambulance or something. We didn’t see anything more than that, they said he died when we went up the stairs. They said it was from an electric stove and that it was poisoned. There are no children, little children, ”he said.
