In the statement made by the Prime Minister’s Office Number 10, it was stated that Johnson had contacted someone who was registered with the National Health Services (NHS) Tracking and Testing System and had proof of Kovid- 19 positive and was therefore told to isolate himself.

It was also shared that Boris Johnson is in good health and does not have any symptoms of Kovid-19.

In the statement, it was noted that Johnson was quarantined and would continue his work from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Under England’s rules, those who have previously received Kovid-19 treatment are not exempt from quarantine. Upon notification from the test and follow-up system, individuals must be quarantined for at least 2 weeks, even if their tests are negative.

On March 27, Prime Minister Johnson’s Kovid-19 test came back positive and he was hospitalized on April 5. He was given oxygen and Johnson was taken to intensive care when his condition worsened. The British prime minister was sacked on April 12 and returned to office about two weeks later.
