The provinces with the highest number of cases compared to the population were Samsun, Giresun, Sinop, Balıkesir and Yalova. The top 3 provinces with the highest number of cases came from the Black Sea region. According to weekly data; Samsun became the province with the highest number of cases in the entire country with 508.97 cases per 100,000 people. No virus has been observed in some neighborhoods in Samsun, which has been leading the number of cases for 3 weeks. One such neighborhood was the Asar district of the Bafra district. There have been no cases for 6 months in the neighborhood where 334 people live in 70 households.
