August inflation Figures have been announced.
The CPI increased 0.86 percent in August. Economists expected the CPI to rise 0.96 percent.
Annual inflation was 11.77 percent in the same month.
The national PPI increased 2.35 percent in August to 11.53 percent annually.
THE GREATEST INCREASE OF VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES
The groups with high increases in August were miscellaneous goods and services with 5.09 percent, transportation and restaurants and hotels with 1.56 percent, respectively.
The greatest monthly decrease was observed in the clothing and footwear group with 2.11 percent. The other main group that showed a decrease was that of food and non-alcoholic beverages with 0.08 percent.
14.68 PERCENT INCREASE IN HEALTH IN ONE YEAR
The main groups with the highest increase in the CPI compared to the same month of the previous year were various goods and services with 26.99 percent, health with 14.68 percent and food and non-alcoholic beverages with 13.51 percent, respectively.
The lowest annual increase was registered in the group of alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 2.44 percent. The other large groups where the increase was low compared to the same month of the previous year were communications with 6.37 percent, entertainment and culture with 6.61 percent and education with 8.50 percent.
TIME CHAMPION SALAD
The rising champion for August was cucumber with a price increase of 25.17 percent. It was followed by lemon with 21.86 percent, domestic routes with 18.64 percent and aubergine with 14.83 percent.
While the product with the greatest price drop was plum with 19.63 percent, potato followed with 17.38 percent.
