Stating that it is a very nice feeling for people to express themselves by learning to read and write, İmre said that it is not the age of learning and self-improvement.
For this reason, Imre claimed that she learned to read and write from her grandson and said: “When I go somewhere, I can tell my problem now. It was very difficult when I couldn’t read and write. I couldn’t go to school when I was little. I hope to learn to read and write in a short time. When my grandson is empty, we study together. Then we study the subjects we work on. Expressing that he was one of the happiest people in the world when he learned that his son was a doctor, İmre said:
“I felt like I became a doctor. Because we worked hard together, we suffered many deprivations, poverty. It was also very difficult to get the children educated. Children should not be neglected. My advice to mothers and fathers is that they should take care of your children, you must not leave them unattended. Let them constantly monitor you. I would always give you advice. I would like you to study your lessons. My five daughters had been educated. Thank God they all had professions. I was very happy with this. After sending my daughters to school, other families around us started sending their daughters to school. I became their first student by taking lessons from my grandson.
