The meeting of the Scientific Committee of the coronavirus was convened at 5:00 p.m. under the leadership of the Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca. After the meeting where the coronavirus measures were discussed, Minister Koca made a statement. Minister Koca announced that as of October 15, field detection studies will resume.

Highlights from Health Minister Fahrettin Koca’s speech:

We now know a lot about the coronavirus. We have concrete and measurable experience with the consequences of the rules. We see the epidemic recede as mask, distance and cleanliness measures are followed, and rise as it progresses.

The WHO released the updated report on influenza two days ago, on October 12. The result of the decrease in flu cases is attributed to the mask, social distance and hand hygiene.

We are in October. If we comply with the measures we will take against the coronavirus, we will be protected from two diseases.

WHO reports 19 Kovid after Turkey I would like to mention the EU Progress Report released today. In the report, Turkey’s healthcare system is strong enough to meet the needs of the Kovid19 pandemic. The points I have made in the EU Progress Report show that we are fighting the global epidemic with global standards. These standards are intended to evaluate part of our success.

We started the normalization period from July. Restrictions are lifted. We start virus analysis. We carry out these controls at airports, those who go abroad, those in prison, soldiers, athletes and organized employees.

WE ARE STARTING THE FIELD SCAN AGAIN

We repeated the field scan on October 15. We are working on the show to reflect the whole of society. This study will give us information about the whole of society. Those who travel abroad in the advancement areas of the pandemic declare that we are disciplined. We leave behind the months of ceremonies and collective events. Enclosed spaces have become very important. We hear that people who work in the same workplace don’t take any precautions. The mask rule must not be compromised.

Some scientists should view the mask as a problem similar to a vaccine. The vaccine should not be considered a complete safeguard against the epidemic. The vaccine will be a remedy for those who can protect themselves from the virus until the day it becomes widely available. The vaccine is not a cure for those who cannot protect themselves from the virus. Although we know much more about the disease caused by the virus and its treatment, the risk extends to the bottom.

As a ministry, we take the necessary steps. We want people with obvious symptoms to apply to health institutions as soon as possible. The strategy we follow is to return to a normal life with caution and protection, diagnosis and isolation.

You can find out the hazard status of the place you will be entering and leaving with HEPP. HEPP is a kind of map that contains all the current data on the coronavirus. While you keep track of all the positives, take advantage of the HES.

Outbreaks require responses in situ. We visit some parts of the country. In places where cases increased, we took additional steps by disclosing the reasons. There were increases in some of our provinces. The second phase planned in the face-to-face training last Monday was revealed.

With our strategy to combat the epidemic, we will overcome this task, without a doubt, the patience, perseverance and precautions that we ask of you are strictly complying.

Turkey is under the leadership of the Scientific Committee formed by the zero point outbreak. This table is our greatest strength. I would like to thank our teachers over and over again on their behalf at each meeting. They are the pride of all humanity.

We have another board that is locked into the vaccine at its work. I didn’t give them detailed information, hoping for a bit more progress. I think we have reached this stage today. There are also experts who directly conduct vaccination studies. Vaccination studies are carried out by a team of 600 people. Currently, 4 different vaccines are being studied. There are other studies. Our teams compete to achieve the result as soon as possible and are in solidarity with the success of others. Currently, two of the vaccines are close to human trial studies.

VACCINE STUDIES

Vaccination studies were carried out under the auspices of our Ministry of Health. Looking at the history of infectious diseases, it is seen that vaccines are not readily available. Compared to those dates, more and more information was added to scientific knowledge, and its technology was incomparably advanced. It is also known that there is an inherent challenge. The prescribed time for vaccination at the beginning of the epidemic is 12 to 18 months. As the epidemic approaches 1 year completion, really significant progress has been made. China, Russia, Great Britain and some countries have reported that they are experimenting with humans. Neither of you can commit to a finished vaccine when you want to buy it.

This is the situation in the world regarding vaccination, although hope is very high, it is possible to remain cautious and cautious.

Intelligence is not distributed by country in the world. Science is opportunity and dedication. Turkey has already presented all the technological facilities required by the vaccine scientists. Our scientists have made this topic the main theme of their lives.

I ask that you believe our scientists, follow the precautions they recommend, observe the rules of mask, distance, and cleanliness, and continue to show no frustration in common sense.

DAILY NUMBER OF PATIENTS

I want to give you our daily chart. The number of our patients today is 1671. The number of our citizens who lost their lives is 57. The number of patients who have recovered is 1396. Our test number is 115 thousand 328. Our weekly rate of pneumonia is 5, 9 percent.

DISTRIBUTION BY PROVINCE

The average increase in the last month in Istanbul is 50 percent. In Ankara, the decline was around 60 percent in the last month. After this decrease in the last three days, we see a 4 percent increase. We see that there are no changes in hospitalizations.

With this decrease, we must ensure that the increase decreases in the coming days following closer measures.

Izmir has decreased by 50 percent in the last month.

We have seen that the general course is good in Izmir, but with the partial increase in recent days, the measures should be taken in force with great precision.

We have seen an increase of 30 percent in Kocaeli, 35 percent in Denizli and 40 percent in Kahramanmaraş compared to last month.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Overall, we expected a profitable increase for Istanbul. We have seen that the transition to indoor environments increases with climate change, including domestic pollution, and this increase depends significantly on this. We are currently not considering any measures in terms of restrictions. Especially, we have increased our filing teams more widely in the field. We increased it even more at last week’s coordination meeting.

The duration of radiation and the time to detect the contacts were reduced by 7-7.5 hours. We make your symptoms with the call system every day. If your symptoms have progressed, we follow up by taking you to the hospital with 112.

We see that there is not a significant increase in hospitalizations. We can easily say that there is no problem with occupancy rates. We see that the use of masks, the distance is extremely important, and it is important not to create crowded environments as much as possible.

Science Board of Turkey, especially as our intrafamily contact form house a maximum of 10 people with people, taking into account our social diversity was recommended and suggestions to reduce as much as possible.

We know very well that we have achieved results by obeying the precautions in our provinces, which are currently increasing, and by intensive radiation in the field. We saw this in Diyarbakır, Urfa and Ankara. The 5 percent increase in Ankara has not been reflected in hospitalizations. As a society, we know how this increase can fall. We have different and variable treatments with sensitivity to the point of not creating a crowd at the mask and distance point, and in case of symptoms.
