The Ministry of National Education (MEB) shared the technical details of how to implement face-to-face education, which will begin on Monday, September 21, with a letter sent to 81 provincial national education directorates.

According to the letter sent to the provinces with the signature of Minister Ziya Selçuk; The adaptation program will take place between September 21 and 25, which is the first week of opening of schools, in preschool educational institutions and in the first grade of primary school. “1 day of face-to-face training” to be done in the form.
STUDENTS WILL BE DIVIDED INTO GROUPS AND WILL HAVE PRESENTIAL EDUCATION
In case of need, taking into account the physical conditions of the school, the students of the branch will be divided into groups in accordance with the rule of social distance and will be given face-to-face training. The days of the groups that arise with the division of the class size will be different from each other.
STUDENTS WHO WANT TO GIVE A PRESENTIAL EDUCATION AND CONTINUE WITH DISTANCE EDUCATION
Student participation in face-to-face education will not be compulsory, parents may facilitate the student to continue distance education voluntarily without having to submit a written request.
WHAT WILL THE TIME OF THE COURSE BE IN PRESENTIAL EDUCATION?
In the first week of early childhood education, the adaptation training will take place in 1 day, 30 minutes of 5 hours of activity. The week after the integration week, which covers the dates of September 28 to October 2, and then, the training will take place in preschool educational institutions during 5 hours of activity of 30 minutes per day, 2 days a week. Education will continue in line with the same planning to this date in the institutions that continue their face-to-face training in preschool education until September 21.
Elementary school 1st grade students will provide orientation training for 5 lessons of 30 minutes each in the first week of classroom training. The week after the integration week, which covers the dates of September 28 to October 2, and then, 2 days a week, 5 hours of 30-minute face-to-face training will be provided. There will be a 10 minute rest period between lessons. School administrations will make the necessary plans, including duty of duty, to maintain social distance between students during recess.
WHAT WILL THE COURSE PROGRAM LIKE? WHAT COURSES WILL STUDENTS TAKE IN PRESENTIAL EDUCATION?
The Ministry of National Education dedicated the first week of face-to-face education to the harmony of pre-school and first-grade students who will barely encounter school life. Within the scope of the Covid-19 measures, the rules of personal hygiene, mask and social distance with non-contact games and fun activities will be explained to students. The week after the integration week, which covers the dates from September 28 to October 2, and the following week, the Turkish lesson is 6 lesson hours, 3 lesson hours 2 days a week, Mathematics 2 lesson hours, 1 lesson two days a week, Life Studies 2 days a week. 2 hours of course will be taught, including 1 hour of course, in face-to-face training. Regarding these lessons, the course hours that cannot be taught in person and other lessons in the primary school 1st grade program will be taught by EBA TV and the live classroom applications of the EBA portal and the education systems to distance.
