Ömer Filiz (41), the barber who was attacked by MYE at his workplace in Osmaniye, lost his life.

The incident took place around 20:00 at a hairdresser in the Mehmet Akif Ersoy district of the central district at 8029’uncu Sokak. According to the complaint, an unidentified person who arrived at the workplace while Ömer Filiz was working opened fire with the pistol he was carrying. Filiz, who was seriously injured by the bullets from the gun, collapsed in blood. The suspect, who organized the armed attack, fled the scene.
The medical team, who arrived at the scene after the people around them reported the situation, took Filiz by ambulance to the hospital after his first intervention. Filiz could not be saved despite all the interventions. Upon arriving at the scene, teams from the Homicide Directorate of the Provincial Security Directorate of the Public Security Service began an operation to capture the suspect. As a result of their work, the teams captured suspect MYE in no time and took him to the police.
